Hello.
Could anyone advise whether a lhd gearstick can be used to replace a snapped rhd stick on a 1995 1.9 5 speed petrol transporter, and if so are there any disadvantages?
All help gratefully received.
Thanks
Eamon

Re: Gearstick
are you sure its a 1995? south african?
yes it cab be used , it will just point towards the passenger and you will nbeed long arms!
if you know a good welder cut it and turn it before the bend so it will be the same as a rhd stick
you can bend it ,but chances are it will snap or not be quite right.

Re: Gearstick
Many thanks.
Sorry about the incorrect description,I am new to this game and thought that "Transporter" was a generic name. The van is a Holdsworth pop top conversion with solid sides.
Again, thanks for your help.
