Whats the deal with CB whilst on our way to/from and at the 25yrs event?
I think my CB is only UK legal? Do we actually have to worry about that? Or are people just going to use them and not worry about it?

Re: 25yrs communications?
As far as I can tell:
In Germany,
D setting 80Ch - 4w FM, 12Ch-1w AM and D2 setting 12 Ch - 1w AM need a licence,
EU setting 1w am using channels 4-15 is okay and EC setting 40Ch - 4w FM is okay.
In Belgium a licence is required for EU,F and EC settings using 40Ch - 4w FM and 40Ch - 1w AM
In France the EU, F and EC settings using 40 Ch FM and AM are okay to use.

It's all the little moments in life that make it a big adventure.

Does that mean that I need to put a CB on my ever increasing wish list?

Re: 25yrs communications?
From experience in France make sure they are switched off going through payage as there are often cops there with nothing better to do than hassle foreigners for minor infringements, ditto passing through borders, even though they are open they are manned and cameras etc......in the past we stayed on UK channel as no traffic there except for some scally with fo big aerial in Liverpool who we could hear loud and clear 1000 miles away
