Insulation

Post by MrH29 »

I want to insulate my t3 transporter. I plan to use a thin celotex maybe 35-30mm or something, also looked at regular fibreglass, the only issue I have is that I read some where about possible condensation issues, I thought about creating a small cavity between the insulation and the body but not entirely sure if it's best or even if it needs it. Also on the side panels of the van I was thinking of just insulating the recesses in the panels so not to have to raise the ply panels off the body too much.

Was hoping for some feedback as I know loads of you have delt with this issue.

Thanks

Space bubble wrap is BOGOF in Homebase, and lidl sell rolls of foil tape for pennies. I did my panel van with two rolls of spacewrap and two rolls of tape by cutting to size and taping into cavities. I left the odd gap for sweat and breath to escape and the jobs a gooden!
