These freezing mornings have given me an additional headache. The throttle cable seems to have water in it which freezes and wont allow the pedal to be pressed down. The engine starts well enough and if I'm prepared to wait the 30 mins or so it seems to take to free the thing then I'm OK.Two questions then
-Is there a knack to preventing this?
-Where can I get a throttle cable for a LHD diesel doka (Tried Brickwerks but can only find RHD-are they different??!)
I sadly don't have a nice warm garage to keep it in!
Cheers.Al

Re: Throttle cable
I have been buying genuine ones, not a fortune.
I think I have some, fire off an e-mail to sales@brickwerks.co.uk and I'll check monday.
i don't have access to stock or e-mails till Monday though.

Re: Throttle cable
I have had exactly the same problem in the past 2 mornings it's a real bugger as the peddle is locked solid. Time to replace the cable!

Since I ditched the Vindic top the aerodynamics have improved somewhat.
