Horrible clunking noise

Post by dazwatson »

I got a horrible cluncking noise coming from the back nearside wheel.

I haven't got round to jacking her up yet but am assuming its a CV joint.

Could it be something else, also if it is wheres the best place to get one a good quality CV joint.

Gsf have them on there web site for £30ish, mid 40' at JK & Baxter

If its a CV joint gone, go to Brickwerks every time , you know it will be a quality product as some of GSF stuff is cheap but won't last and CV joints you don't want to be replacing every year. Mark :ok

Don't forget to check your wheel nuts first. Might sound funny but that's where my knocking noise came from!
