Has anyone done a conversion from upper bed to cupboards on their hightop? I am helping a mate with a complete refit on a van he has just bought and we are a bit stuck on what to do with the rear section of the hightop, the top is high all the way to the back with an almost dead square end so to just fit a cupboard would mean either the cupboard would be huge and he wouldnt be able to reach things at the rear or we fit a smaller cupboard and have a empty void at the back of it.
Your suggestions would be most appreciated and some pics would be fab
many thanks Mart
Please oh Lord, dont let mine be a duffer. Amen

sorry its crude but I did think about installing a rear half cupboard slightly on the incline and using a couple of the underbed roller plastic storage boxes in it then as you pull down the rear cupboard door it would form a platform for the boxes to roll forward on.

I converted my hightop from bed to large cupboards - see
http://www.busgutz.com " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for pics. I store stuff in boxes up there- those large plastic ones from Argos ( think they are for under bed storage )

I've got cupboards down one side of my high top in the roof. So the upper bed is like a 3/4 bed as well as the downstairs bed.
