2.1 oil seals
anyone having trouble with 2.1 front crank oil seals. couldn`t get them from vw so bought 2 off gsf and both have ripped after fitting them. they seam too tight on the pully.

Lee, if you are having trouble when fitting crank seals make sure you lube the seal edge with a bit of oil coz fitting them dry may be the reason why they are ripping,,,

cheers fitz lubed both seals prior to fitting so i dont think i`m doing anything wrong " famous last words
"just seams the seals are too tight.
