Did anybody else buy one of those generators from aldi just wanna know if you really need to earth it or not :D

Not tried it fully on a weekend yet but had it running my coolbox for a few hours with no problems and its nice and quiet to just dont know about this earthing thing might just let the missus plug and unplug stuff just incase :run

the earthing question! sticking copper rod in the ground won't do any harm! although it won't product an ideal earth. i have one of these small gennys but i tend not to bother earthing it instead i use double insulated equipment which doesn't need an earth.
