Any Tips for fitting Interior wall/ceiling material?
Am using cheap carpetright cord carpet with the backing pulled off on the burgundy and rubbed off on the beige.
Sharp stanley with lots of blades i think. Used evo-stick for the first bit but might need to buy lots more cheaper stuff?
Managed to get expanding foam in me hair too.....

Spray adhesive - you can get it in haberdashers/fabric shops/hardware shops . It's about a fiver a tin, and although you'll need several tins to do a whole van, you'd only need a couple for a headlining I reckon. It's tacky immediately, and achieves a good finish......will even pretty much hold the carpet on the roof straightaway as long as it's not too heavy.....

I bid you farewell.......for now.......

hehe - well done! Never harms to ask*
Worth a good few quid at current prices too!
Probably because I know they don't like scraping the barrel, and its probably being paid for by Joe Bloggs up the road having his new garage/office conversion smartened up with carpet stuck down properly 'all-over'.
* though I dropped into a sheetmetal shop the other day having glanced in their bin on the way past, and asked if I could have a few steel strips in there. Was given some sortof... 'that's our pocket money, why assume you can take it for free'
Which I hadn't, if they'd said, OK, givus a couple of quid, I would have! So I left with an aplogoy and then an afterthought.... along the lines of the state of the country
Asif a few ounces of steel was worth moe than few pence
