Engine Change on T25 in Luton

I need to do an engine change on our T25 and was wandering if anyone knows a garage or mechanic that could do this in the Luton, Bedfordshire area. Many thanks.

These folks are highly recommended by most.

My geography south of Birmingham is not good so they might be a million miles from you

However, do take care to make very sure whoever does it is families with T25's and even if Elite are a bit far, taking it to them might be well worth considering.

What engine is coming out and going in ?

(many garages will not be keen to fit a used motor for you for obvious reasons !)

Hi Many thanks for the info. They are too far away from us, but I have had an email from a VW specialist that is fairly close to Luton. The trouble is the engine has packed up and we would have to get it towed which is why I am looking locally.
The engine we are replacing is the original 1.6 diesel engine with an AAZ. Thanks again for you help.

Try Wayne at WA in Eaton Bray. He's old school VW guy, knows his stuff and not a rip off merchant. He's done loads on my bus

Hi thanks very much. Thats funny because I had a message from the VW van centre in Luton passing Waynes details onto me. I recognised the name, then saw the number was the same.
