help with r'n'r bed sizing

Post by lovsin »

i got some rock and roll hinges last week and require some help.

can someone measure the dimensions of their bed for me.

front plate - height x width

a*** bit - depth x width

back bit - height and width

and the under the seat curved section. height x depth . then from this i can follow the curve of the van for the final side.
this is for a full size.

i have searched the site 80-90 sections , even the wiki and no body got the dimensions there and lots people seem to be buying them and fitting em.

are the support brackets essential.

if so can someone also measure the triangle so i can make some out of ply.
cheers in advance.

Ok, did this a while ago for someone, so have a few measurements here for you, for full width, giving ample room for brackets either side....

Seat bit, 152cm wide, 48 cm front to back.
Back rest, 152 cm wide obviously, 46 cm high.

That help?

Measure out the width in the van, it gives room for the hinges and to fit seatbelts to the side of the van.
