Ive found this site very handy on a numbe of acassions, contains gearbox exploded diagrams fr most vw stuff inc syncro

I have a PDF of the factory Syncro gearbox manual somewhere. Took quite a while to scan in all 154 pages. Would consider passing on for beer !

Yeah its good, but in reality, most of us let Aidan sort out the gearboxes... he has all the correct tools and has seen just about all the breakages and bodge's there are....

Some of the stuff thats come out of some "rebuilt" box's is just downright naughty...

Im by no means a pro on gear boxes but ive not found one yet that hasnt worked after ive had it to bits! Im the typical smal farm boy, jack of all trades :lol:

For me I'd go down the Aidan route every time; I'm still heating the house using the report he provided for my syncro gearbox rebuild! :D
