1z fron audi 80
WHy wont my van engine mount fit this engine ?......right hand as you look at the engine from the rear of the bus.
ALso can I use the original turbo manifold etc fro9m the bus with the new pump etc from the Audi....
no imobilzer either ;-]
Can someone explain why the bus dipo stick need a new mark as the oil is in the same sump as before with the same pick up >

Dipstick always wrong when changing to a 1.9

ok happy about the turbo............
I understand I cant use the Audi dip stick but does the 1.9 require more oil than the 1.6 then ?
Is the new 'mark' higher up the stick ?

Yeah I understand it has a longer stroke but the dip stick sits near the bottom of the block...
are you saying the 1.9 needs more oil ?

no - the dipstick obviously is the same length, the block is longer thus the level mark will appear higher, new mark is below old mark, some peeps even add length to the dipstick and fully recalibrate, volume of oil 4.5 litres still I believe

Only got it running on Wednesday and revved with no exhaust........well pleaseed

ok drove on the road today...........
throttle is very delayed, I let off to change up and the revs dont drop straight away ?
any body ?
Also battery went dead over night ? ..... and when I connect the power the pump clicks is that normal ?
thought all red white wires were perminant live and green red swithced ignition live ...........
