I've got a volkspares engine in my van 1.9DG
on the rocker cover its got a label saying manual tappits
does this mean i have solid lifters or do i treat them as the norm
if they are solid what clearance do i need for the rockers

Sorry but 25 thou is far too much they should be 6 thou (0.006") inlet and exhaust.

a good resource on lifters (mainly hydraulic though)

Yes, steve it sounded too big when the neighbour told me as he's had a recon but I didn't question it. :oops:
