Campervan security:Fiamma locks?

Post by sirbraunstonquiffqc »

Hi there
Well and truly hooked now that i've got my first T25.Can't stop grinning.T25 owners are so right and everyone else is so wrong! Waxoyl to follow on from its first service and new brake hoses! They have tons more character than any bay or splitty! Anyhow quick query about security. Taking the van to Ireland next year and am curious about security options such as Fiamma door covers and front door security options. Grateful for any advice.....also alarm systems. Cheers y'all.

Hi Ian
Yes....thanks for the advice! I'm thinking of various trip wires, landmines and barbed wire. One can't be too careful!

Can't tell you too much about mine as it's top secret, but it consists of a shotgun and some string. :pimp
Martin.

Diesel is an engine not a fuel.

I liked camping so much I went full time.

fiamma door safe will work in theory butyou need to be able to get at the back of the panel that it's fitted to in order to fit it! plus you'd have to drill holes all over your new van!

simple things like tinted windows will help illiminate prying eyes, visible deterants like crook locks/steering locks will make it a less likely target.

a simple flashing led on the dash may give the impression of an alarm, list is endless, but keep anything you can't see from outside the van a secret!
