You're in luck, someone is selling a roof rack like that in the classifieds. Look for the thread called "roof rack"

The visors are OK as long as they are made out of decent stuff, and you leave a good gap for the airflow.

I have made one for mine using PVC fascia board, it is very strong, but will curve nicely to the shape of the van. Just got to make up the brackets and paint it, will post piccies when its done.

If you want a roof rack, I can get you one made in any design you want, just pm me with your requirements and I will get you a price. Only thing we cant do is chrome them, but you could always have that done yourself it you wanted

I'm selling this one. http://www.club80-90.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5858

Its a retro looking one and is exellent quality. You could easily put wooden slats on it if you wanted. The JK roof racks that I've seen aren't really very good quality - well certainly not as good as this.

wont see my welder until the weekend, but will give him the pics and see what sort of price they work out at.

Be assured the quality will be first rate.......his main job is building roll cages, but does a lot of roofracks for Landies and stuff like that
