EHU Quick Question - sorry not right forum but

Post by TravellingChick »

want a quick response so posing in General.

Just tested out my EHU for first time after borrowing an adaptor thingy and it all works - whoo hooo!

Does EHU power/charge anything other than the plug sockets and the fridge? I appear to have a trickle charger thingy but at Apps in July Angelo discovered my leisure batter is essentially "orphaned" ie: not hooked up to anything and the internal lights run off the mains :? so the leisure battery that is there isn't taking a charge of anything anyway but will be on EHU charge the main battery?

Or am I being really thick here?

TIA
Sarah

When on EHU you can use the 240 socket as you would in your home and the fridge on 240V rather than gas. The charger should keep the leisure battery topped up as you will be using lights, water pump, etc. But, your leisure batterey isn't supplying the 12V accessories and everything is running off the starter battery even though it all appears to be connected. Will pop over to Cromer on Saturday and sort it out as promised......
