Off roading posibility at camperjam 2010

Post by David Eccles »

Apparently there is an off roading course / track at weston park - a couple of you asked me to find out.
Question: would you like to see if we can get it open for the Camperjam show and those who wanna do it?
Who is best on here to talk with about the probs and possibilities
it costs the show extra to hire it in thats the problem would people pay extra to go on the course or am I away with fairies here
just it sounds like a fun thing for the show?
any thoughts out there welcome...
David

There is a committee for the Syncro side of Club 80-90 and I suppose Clive and Jenny would be the people to talk to. They are off somewhere in the Peak District with a lot of other like minded Syncro people but no doubt they'll be along here soon.

Hi David
If you remember we talked about this at last years VF.. (Si, LPG feature in the "silverfish" issue) and I am well up for it..
I also suggested a possability of "demonstration offroad rides" although I think if we did that there would have to be a nominal fee to cover fuel, unless someone can get the money back with reciepts
Either way.. I am up for it.. I think we would need to see the site before comitment as to its suitability and viability ..

I'm interested. The Camperjam venue is prettier than Vanfest's and some off-road posing would make it even better! Just need to get a reasonable selection of traders there as well and it'd be perfect.
