Propex heating electrics need person in leeds area

Help ! I bought a 1990 T25 last year and I cannot get the propex compat 1600w to work. I think thermostat and wiring need checking. can anyone advise someone in the leeds area. thanks in advance simon :D

Why not give Propex a ring. I gather they are quite helpful.

Do a search on the net for propex's number and call them , they are very helpful even if you haven't bought it off them !! They aslo do the parts if you need them !!

simon,before you go any further,undo the fuse for the propex.look inside the propex(through the vents)so you can see the fan.ok? get a long handled screwdriver and gently move it left or right.if it moves freely(spins like a hamster wheel) it is probably an electrical problem.if it doesn't budge then the fan has stuck on.you will need to remove the propex,undo it (about 6 screws)and grease the base of the fan in wd40 moving the fan all the time back and forth.it will eventually work free! this was the advice i was given by the good man at propex.worked for me and the campcharlies.good luck mate :ok
