France, Andorra & Spain (pics)

Post by joe75 »

A big thank you for all your advice on our recent trip to France. In the end we got the ferry to Dieppe and head south down to the med coast nr the Spanish boarder. After a few days chilling on the beach we headed in Andorra and the high Pyrenees. After a few nights in Andorra we then went into Spain and then back into France and onto the Atlantic coast nr Arcachon where we spent a few nights. From here it was back up to Dieppe.

The trip was great. The van covered 2000miles in 12 days without any problems. Considering this time last yr we would have not gone to Tesco’s and back it in without breaking down, we were well pleased with its performance. Being 4x4 with only a 1.6TD made the big hills in the Pyrenees a little slow but we where still faster then the big RV´s. On the auto routes 100kph was no problem. We found the campsites to be great and would recommend using the cool camping France book. Next yrs plans are to get down to Morocco!
