could be its knacked.have you tried charging it off the van.if no,then charge it for 24 hrs.test the voltage.leave stood for another 24 hrs.test voltage again.if theres a drop in the readings, its not holding a charge and needs renewing...

have you put a tester between the battery terminals with the engine off and then with the engine running.you should have a higher reading with it running.if your not getting a reading.then there is a problem with the split charge system.does your van have a zig unit or is it a home brewed system.it could be a knacked relay...

When you say you have 'no power' do you mean at the battery terminals or to the equipment that is supposed to be connected to it? If its the latter then investigate/check the fuse that should be close to the battery. No reading at the battery terminals then either your reading is faulty, terminals corroded or battery open circuit (only known of one instance but can happen).

The battery is giving a reading of 13.5 ish but i have no water pump or internal lights.
I put two jump leads from battery terminals to the water pump/light fuses and they worked so i guess the problem lies in the relay or the live wire to the fuses ??
Would the relay cause this problem ?
Thanks.

if wired correctly, the split charge relay should not interfere with operation of the leisure equipment even if faulty. The leisure battery should have a fuse fairly close to it which then feeds to a separate fuse panel/zig if fitted which in turn distributes voltage to the leisure equipment. This fuse and any mounted on an auxillary fuse panel/zig may be the problem and need to be checked first.
