exhaust dilemma!
hi all, just returned from france with a blown exaust again!!!!
,anyway, got it welded and should be ok for a while but its had a few repairs now, some before we got the bus so its going to need replacing sooner rather than later.dilemma, had a look on jk earlier at the silencers and the one for the turbo diesel is different to the one iv got on,so is the downpipe, turns out the one we have is for the non-turbo,she is a turbo jx engine so,whats the difference?apart from about £25.00,im getting about 50 mpg and she runs sweet, should i just get the like for like replacemet? if not iv got to change all the mounting brackets too, thoughts greatly appreciated, thanks.....leroi

Re: exhaust dilemma!
I'm failrly sure Chickenkoop has a new diesel silencer (OEM) for sale. Not sure if he's put it in the For Sale section yet but if you're interested I'll ask him for you. He works nights but think hes off work on Fridays.

Re: exhaust dilemma!
Just spoken to Chickenkoop - he only wants £60 for the silencer (bargain I'd say). I think (and I'm no expert on diesels, its to do with bore sizes. He did say he's advertised the box in Brickyard - with pic. Its never been used.

Re: exhaust dilemma!
Hopefully he'll login this evening or you could try sending him a message on the Brickyard. Others may be able to clarify this though. I don't own a diesel so can't help but many do. I'm sure someone will be able to explain the differences.
