I have a 1986 1.6 diesel westfalia. The leisure battery is dead. I really want a cig lighter so I can charge my phone while on trips, and it's connected to the leisure battery I think (double socket behind LHD driver seat), and it is also dead. I'm guessing that the means of charging the second battery is bust.
I have what may be a "din" socket on the dashboard - looks like an afterthought - does anyone know if you can charge a phone with one of those?
Any recommendations for someone to check and fix the electrics (temp gauge and mileometer also dead)?
I'd also like to get the gas set-up checked over.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

One of our London based members who lives and works in Kensington, swears by this place, it may not be the cheapest but the job will be done by people who care.
