Electrical problem - indicators/headlights

Post by purplecrocs »

ok, I have just bought my first t25 so this is likely to be one of many questions over the next couple of weeks!

First problem, I had the side lights on today, and when switching on the indicator, instead of an indicator flashing the headlamps flashed (and the ticking noise inside went faster than normal) seemed to be ok without sidelights and on full lights. Any ideas where I would start in fixing this?!

Thanks

Have a look at these 'crown earths' in fuse box area.
Front main/dip, side lights and front turn signals (Indicators) should all earth here. Tail lights, and rear indicators earth at rear of van.

These earths are a good place to start, can cause all sorts of naughties with the electrickery.
