Part numbers

Post by Louey »

OK one of you with ETKA running - I need to replace a few bits on my gear linkage, its an 091 4speed box and I need the Relay Lever (or ideally just the bit with the 2 plastic balls on it) and the bush as circled below.

Can someone let me know the part number so I can then ring VW or GSF and know what I'm talking about

Thanks
Louey

Ekta Link, think its Russian Site but it works OK

http://www.vagcat.com/epc/cat/vw/T2/

Ignore the T2 bit you have to select the year of your van and it covers T3 years as well

annoyingly I go to the biggest GSF in the country and they don't stock either part - the bushes or the lever bit at the back

I guess its part with more cash than I have and get it from the VW dealer

GSF's service is hugely on the slide for T25 bits - mostly it's 'we don't even list that part'.

It would seem we fall between classic and modern so very few people keep the bits these days.

It took seven attempts to get an exhaust/manifold gasket (I wanted to wear the top I had on for a few more days  ) and they didn't have any of those copper bolts (mine is bolts not nuts) :?

I could have stayed at Uni longer as the VW van centre is five mins away instead of 30
