My camper 'The Pea' is just about ready to gooooo

Post by irishkeet »

Hi all

Had a great weekend working on The Pea (named after Birds Eye car ad), it was the weekend it all came together after weeks of working in the cold and feeling like not a lot was happening!
My friends mopped the van and brought the original colour back really well.
Would be interested in what you think,
Im well happy and cant stop smiling everytime I look at it.
I have a few little jobs left to do like the skylight and some cleaning.
The first pics are of the van when I got it in Late Nov.

The van looks great after a bit of tlc & more than a bit of elbow grease,
no doubt? :!:
I noticed what I think is a roll-up awning attached to the side of the van above the sliding door. Is this a factory fit when the conversion was done
or is it something you fitted later? If you bought/fitted it, where did you get it, how much did it cost & was it easy to fit? Thanks. :?: :D :D

Very nice indeed! Hope you enjoy using it as much as having it admired!

Remember - vans are better used than left to rot on driveways like caravans. ;)
