Timing info

Post by albertramsbottom »

I am just about to get my timing done at a local garage. These guys are not Aircooled experts by any means so I was wondering if there are any specifics that I should let them know.

This is related to an erlier post about overheating and I want to check that the timing is not to advanced. As I understand that this can cause to much heat.

Thanks in advance for any information

Cheers :ok

A 2 second flick into the Wiki gleaned this ... https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Pe ... gnition_02

It's there to help you, also a Haynes Manuel may be helpful.
