Evening all. I read on here about someone who could hear their gearbox whining when driving. I maybe getting a bit paranoid but I also can hear a whine. I investigated further and the offside final driveshaft has no play but the nearside when I when I put up and down pressure on the driveshaft coupling has movement in the gearbox/diff. Anyone got a similar thing ? If I drain the oil and remove the oilseal cover will I be able to see a bearing ? I cant find a drawing of the diff which would help me enormously. FINALLY.........does the magic oil medecin like Wynns actually work well enough to get me through the summer ?
Cheers
