Transformer (drop box) problem Urgent help needed

Post by Blue Meanies »

Help!
We are on holiday near Eastbourne and are moving to Bridport next week.

Our transformer from the 240v hook up has gone Kaput!

Getting good 240v in but only 2.5v coming out so think transfomer must be done for????

Can anyone diagnose a fault that is not the transformer?

If it is the transformer can anyone suggest a source for a new one?

Help please.

The markings on the genuine Westfalia transformer read as follows

Batterie Ladegerat LG20
Fur Bleibatteriaen Mindestkapazitat 30 Ah
Eingang 220v ~/ 50Hz, 190VA
Ausgang 12v /11A eff, 7A lin

I have a new 85Ah leisure battery. This charges fine off the engine when I am running but not charging from 240v.
240v charging was working last week!

If you could text or call me with info that would be great as I have limited access to the internet.

If not any help appreciated....
