Alternator Part Number

I am looking for the correct part number so I can order a new 90 Amp Alternator for the below T25. When I spoke to GSF they said they do not have any of the alternators that run the rev counter?? The connections on the one removed are Main power large wire, rev counter (spade) and another small wire unknown what this is for?

I think I have the majority of a part number but am missing a digit i think its a
Bosch 0(this number missing)903031R other numbers etc on the alternator are N1 14V 34 90A and 0120469813814

The VW is a 1991 T25 Vanagon Westfalia its Left hand drive and has a 1.6 Turbo Diesel engine.

you can get it reconditioned at Sutton in Ashfield Notts for about £50-£60 if you can get it there? only takes a couple of hours if they havent got one in stock, or try these TPS 01158528080 they are in Bulwell Notts. If its any help I will pick anything up this way for you and drop it off.

90amp td alternator is 068 903 031 RX £240 plus vat from vw - I'd go to Bosch first, and there's plenty on ebay the QH units seem ok from what I've seen don't know about the bod wire but should be there for our application it's not just rev counter that uses it

I have just been to GSF for that part and there are 2 avail the part number 068903031R and also one with the X is an exchange part.

The quote from GSF is for the original Bosch £99.48 inc VAT. Luckily I went to Electromech in Lincoln and it was just the Voltage Regulator, replaced and tested for £28.
