Help with Emissions / part

Hi

Got recon engine from Elite, 1.9WB, Pierburg Carb. Still running in. Obviously this is running my old carb, which was definately running rich before engine swap. Just failed MOT on emissions. Michael at Elite told me the carb is missing the Accelerator pump valve (Small rubber thing that looks like a drawing pin) would that affect the emmissions? Does anyone have a spare? Any other advice on emissions? I'm on a clock :( gotta get this puppy legal for Wednesday.

If its missing that, what other buggeratiuons has someone done to it :roll:

Find a good used one and pref get a gasket kit and rebuild it...
