Hi,
Just managed to finally buy an original Westy Rock and Roll bed with the correct trim for my Caravelle (assume it is basically the same design as the Multivan version). It came with the 4 "box brackets" for bolting the seat in since it is narrower than the standard seat, however because it is narrower the seat back doesn't latch back onto the pins. Obviously a new bracket is needed for this or some sort of adaptor.
Has anyone got a picture of a one for me to fabricate? Should there be some trim pieces at the sides of the seat?
The seat back on a westy dose not lock into pins if you have the box it should lock into place and has a latch at the front there is no side trim as on a camper th box is against the side units.

Cheers, but this isn't for a Westy Camper, it is a full width Westy bed for a caravelle. It does have the side latches as the photo below hopefully shows!
no one else got one of these they can take a piccy of? Maybe this should be in the technical queries section, but I don't want to get my wrists slapped for double posting!!!
There is a metal plate on the side of the van,you need to grind off the spot welds and move it along approx 3/4 inches, then you will need the multivan locking pins which are longer then caravelle pins.
