Great Sun Canopy

Post by mwheatley »

Hi All,

Not sure if you're interested but I thought I would tell you about a great deal, I think anyway(!), on a sun canopy. It's from a place called Decathalon, the makers of Quechua tents(?) & it's only £20 including 2 6ft poles & guys. An easy adjustment would make it fit easily to the rain gutter on a camper. Here's the link:

We have one and it is amazing, just wrapped it round a pole and clamped it onto gutter with crocodiles at glastonbury, bit of a bodge but it worked a treat.

Hi Alice,

I haven't had the chance to get it out of the bag yet but did see one set up while camping last weekend and it did look great. What more can you ask for for £20!!!!

We will be getting one for sure :)

I was looking for an "online" source (the link seems to be collect in store only) and discovered the same thing on ebay but for £35 to £40

Hi John,

You're right, I looked for quite some time & couldn't find anything less than £30. I was going to make one but that would probably have cost more, and my sewing skills are not up to much either!!

It is in store collection only, but make sure you take lots of money when you go, they have everything for everything outdoors, and quite cheap too!
