Divided Water Tanks for fresh and waste water???

Post by jaymo »

Hi folks,

I've only got a few bits left to fit in my camper conversion, one of which being a Water Tank.

Does anybody know if a divided Tank (fresh water one side, waste in the other) can be bought from anywhere?

Have you considered getting 2 separate 1/2 size water tanks from somewhere like Cak Tanks?

Alternatively you could have an onboard fresh water tank & just trail out a tube for a waste water tank that you can just sling under the van when you park up. A lot of motor homes appear to have this type of setup.

Just a thought.

Yeah, had a look at Cak Tanks and a few others, but not found a tank that does both.

I think I'll probably end up buying two seperate tanks rather than the waste water running out under the van. I had that set up on my last van and it made a little bit unpopular a couple of times

I'd be very wary of have waste water anywhere near fresh for risk of disease etc. Better off with waste going outside into a separate barrel. Easier to empty too...
