Rear Wash Wipe

Post by Seamus »

Guys,

next daft newbie question, I have searched an existing rear wiper thread for an answer to this but cant seem to make head nor tale of it... anyway, do I have to replace my existing stalk for a rear wash/wipe version? I've got the bottle, motor, wiper arm and relay, I've got the dimensions of where to drill and fit it, I just need to clear up my confusion with the arm.

thanks again

You could wire it to an independent switch(easier) otherwise yes you need a new wiper stalk and a wiring diagram to work out whats what...To be honest mate I rarely use the rear wiper and unless you do a lot off wet winter motorway driving in yer van, I think you're making a job for yourself.. :ok Mark

Totally agree on that. I had one and removed it - waste of space. Just give rear window a coat of rain-x once a month - does a far better job.
