Leisure Battery Size

Post by illzlee »

Hi folks,

i'm due a new battery in my camper (a bay, boo hiss) and i'm wondering what the concensus is on what ah to buy? I've got a 110ah at THE mo and it weighs more than me. And i'm fat.

Anyhoo, i don't really use it a lot apart from the water pump/lighting and a stereo when camped up as my fridge is normally on 240v. Seriously looking at a 85ah or even smaller?

So, how big is yours? :pimp

I just popped in a 100ah elecsol yesterday. Fits rather snugly, and the lid doesn't quite close now, but just room down beside it to stow the cigarette lighter socket on a length of wire I fitted at the same time.

75A/hr but also have a new 85A/hr as a spare and it is more or less the same physical size.
