(edited, late last night not reading question right sorry,) NO it is not the screen washer bottle washer bottle is under paaengers left foot on RHD
i THINK THE HANDLE IS FOR COLD starting (like sub zero)
get a 12 volt tv/ and lights, get a three way fridge. avoid inverters if you can as they are inneficient, best to get the appliance to match the power source.

Inverters are no good for boiling kettles, or any other applience that uses alot of power.

A kettle is at least 2000 Watt, this means it uses about 8 Amps from the 240 Volt mains. ( 2000 divided by 240 = 8.333 )

Now if you try to get this much power from 12 Volts you are going to use well over the calculated 166 Amps. ( 2000 divided by 12 = 166.66 ) This is a similar power draw to turning the starter motor and will flatten the battery in no time, plus the inverter will be large and expensive.

As has been said, best try and use 12 Volt equipment or Calor gas where possible.

Inverters are ok for lower powered stuff, but not for heat or big motors, so vacuum cleaners, microwaves, hair dryers, electric drills etc are out. (unless you have a bank of leisure batteries and a BIG inverter... )

Cold start handle is good. Use it whenever things are cold not just in sub zero conditions. If it's a bit parky in the cab then its not a pleasant place to be waking up back there in the engine cupboard.

Screen washer bottle in the engine bay???!? There should be a header tank for coolant on the right hand side as you look at it with the top off and a coolant top up bottle on the left as you peer through the pull down flap behind the number plate. Anything else could be aftermarket so check where the pipes go. Isn't the rear wash bottle (if you have one) in one of the rear wings? Could be wrong as I don't got one and just because You don't got a rear wash wipe now doesn't mean you never had one.
