heaters

i have a problem with heaters constantly blowing hot on my t25 holdsworth.
all levers seem to work ok / but heater stays hot.
aldo found fuse blown for blower control switch.
any tips greatly recieved

Sounds like you have the shut-off valve cable off behind the dash.

thanks chaps/ how the hell do i get the cover off in front of gearstick
(no heat at moment though....fuel pump gave up yesterday on arrival at end of street) :ok

The 'V' shaped shroud pulls off straight towards you ... be gentle it's 20+ year old plastic.

I'd be investing in a manual too :wink:

will take it easy/ got a haynes manual with the van/
mastered the clocks cover so will try the other.

If you look into the heater control panel and move the 'heat' knob you should be able to see if the cable is attached.
No real need to take the heater cover( v panel ) unless your renewing the cable

Morning Peter - I hangs me keys off the lever down behind the plastic to keep the blowers off on my van. Because i am too bloody idle to put a new cable on :mrgreen:

Hi,

I am having the same problem with 2 of the cables that have come off and are bent. Whenever I put them back on they just bend again. Does anyone know were I can get new cables for these units?
