I'm intending to put a rail around the van, including the sliding door and windscreen. I can't find in the WIKI or previous posts a template or rule of thumb which will stop me drilling through the roof! How do I go about this, please?

Re: Fixing curtain rail
You won't go through the roof, the rail sits well below the point where you'd be drilling vertically. All you need to do is install it above any doors - I'll sort a photo of where mine are if you need it.

fitting mine at mo, bit of a pain especially around the cab, think its double skinned there, so broke a few drill bits...be careful in that area...

Re: Fixing curtain rail
Thanks chaps, I realise it's double skinned, my concern is drilling too close to the apex. Any photos would be appreciated, Rainman, thanks again.
