Clutch pipe

Post by gsmoke »

Not the best of days.
While changing the clutch flexi hose, I have managed to break the solid pipe that goes from the flexi pipe to the slave cylinder. The union (I think thats what its called) is well and truly rusted to the pipe. I cant phone vw (Sunday). I cant find it on gsf or anywhere else. Do I need to contact the scrappers, or can one be made up? Unfortunately, the van is in a back lane so it needs to be sorted tomorrow.
Thanks

Get your self a roll of 6mm Kunifer from you local motor factors remove the origonal pipe ends from the old pipe then find someone to drill them out to suit the new diameter pipe and while they are at it get them to put a double flare on each end of the pipe .

I got a fella to make some pipe up at my local motor factors this morning at a cost of six quid! Result.
Thanks for the advice.
