Both my cab door handles are worn with the interior bore full of deep grooves meaning that the lock can be undone using other keys with a bit of wiggling and perseverance. So I have a few questions
Can I replace them with new ones and then re-key the barrel to my old key?
Would I need to use the segments out of my old barrels or is it a case of re-arranging the barrel segments in the new lock barrel to the same order as my old barrel?
And does anyone have any experience of the quality of the repro JK handles (or the more expensive GSF version) considering that VW no longer sell handles and JK have no stock of the OEM version?
cheers
