flywheel ID

Post by lhd »

Will the part No. be on the flywheel?
Problem is, as my engine is a JP 1.6dn/a from a golf I'm not sure wether the person who done the conversion used the flywheel from the donor engine(JP) or used the CS one.
Now I'm not sure which size clutch to get.

I would have said, thinking about it that they will have used a T3 flywheel.
I presume the rest of the installation is as a 1.6D or a TD in a T3 rather than using an adapter plate?
Normal T3 Diesel clutch will fit and work I feel sure.
T3 D and TD clutches are all the same.
