not really 1y specific just a diesel question ..
Installing my 1y over the weekend, I put on the wires. I have them connected :
1)Top of pump
2)glow plug rail
3)back of block water temp
4)side of block another water temp wire
5)oil pressure sensor
However I have one more, it wasnt connected and doesnt affect the van running, just would be good to know what it does.
Thanks

Re: Diesel Engine wiring loom
There should be two oil pressure sender wires, 0.3 bar on the end of the head (blue/black) and 0.9 bar on the filter flange (yellow/red). (This is for a late TD.)
