Security- changing locks

Post by joe75 »

Has anyone tightened up security on their van? I have noticed that my front and side door seem worn  ....

From the little I know I seem to remember that if the locks are removed then new barrels can be fitted? Anyone done this?

Any other ideas for better security?

Thanks in advance for any advice... :D

people don't talk about security issues on their vans as they do get stolen .

If your locks are that bad then yes they need sorting , change barrels .

your tumblers will have become seized in the cylinder, they can be cleaned out stripped and retumbled and good as new generally unless the handle internals have been massively worn.
