New Interior Van Lining

Post by cubensis »

Hi, interior lining looking tatty and dirty, time for a update.

We where thinking to get the same sort of ribbed stretchy carpet, we currently have this going straight onto the fibreglass hightop and metal parts of the van (bottom half below windows has 3mm ply so not on metal there). We where thing of getting the same again in a mid-grey colour.

Ok so two questions,

1) Would anyone recommend anything better than the ribbed carpet or is it generally accepted that this is a good type of lining?

2) Has anyone got any company recomendations with a rough price for the job on a hightop (just a rough price! :P ), we are in Manchester but would travel for a good price/company.

You could use proper lining material.

Mark sells it and may be able to recommend somebody to fit it. He's a really helpful chap.Worth a phone call

Thanks for the replies, theres much more options than i thought! I won't be attempting this job myself, i give most things a go but i reccon this could turn out looking shabby if i attempted it as i'd imagine theres a learning curve.

Will give mark a ring tomorrow and ask for a rough quote, pity he doesnt fit the carpet aswell, will have a look at cheshire motor caravans and rainbow also, cheers!
