Copper Fuel Pipe

Post by tompat »

I have some 5mm copper pipe, will that be ok to use as fuel pipe if its connected to pump and filter with the flexible rubber pipe? Putting in a new fuel tank and was thinking about maybe doing this while I was under the van?

Thanks

Absolutely as long as the size and internal area of the new pipe is the same or larger than the original and the hose used to connect it is fuel grade and not coolant type (which would perrish quickly and degrade) Also needs properly routing and securing.
