Breathable Groundsheet options

Looks like a couple of places I will be using this year want us to use breathable groundsheets, so far I have managed to resist buying one and I only want to buy it once.

Anyone suggest any quality groundsheets ?,,,,,,,

They sell it by the yard at most caravan/camping stores.
choice of colour too
i typed 'breathable ground sheets' into google and got an astounding amount of the same shyte

we got the eco mat groundsheet

the grass grows through it on long trips and the water and damp come through

we now use a non breathable one ssshhhhhh but put the eco none on top like a carpet

I tried my awning out recently for the first time and realised it did not have a groundsheet so is on my list of things to get.
The awning will probably get it's first outing at Glastonbury which is famous for rain.
I am assuming that these breathable or eco mats are for use when you are in the south of France and not really suitable for a British "summer".
Am I right? The awning is going to act as an airlock before getting in the van so wellies and other muddy items will need to be removed before admittance is authorised.

We use a b and q blue tarp with a picnic rug on the bit we sit on. Easy to clean and it doubles up as an awning skirt with the addition of pegs in the right places and a bungee cord or 2.

Spent a lorra dosh on breathable mats..they are rubbish!..cant walk around in bare or stockinged feet, they just get wet all the time and it trails into camper/caravan. So now we use it where we have to & put a non permeable one over the top. Keeps them & us happy.

The breathable ones get full of mud too & have to be washed down.

Got captured during a "camp inspection" for having a regular groundsheet under our eco one on a CC site recently.
Campsites of yesteryear had yellow patches where someone else had been but they didn't last long.
What's so eco "unfriendly" about a regular one. It promotes new growth (and keeps ya socks dry)!

feels really nice underfoot and seems to keep the rain out
