new to this and read the wiki bit re diesel engine replacements but want to make sure i'm going for the right engine.
i know most of you will think ffs how dense is he but i'm pepared to be pitied for the correct answer!!!
my 1.6d engine has been causing various problems and has now given up.i was wanting to get a 1.9d engine but just want re-assured on a couple of things................
i take it it's the 1y 1.9 that will go straight into what i've got?
what other bits will i need to do it
and most importantly, what year did these engines run from and what date did they stop?
thanks for your patience
