Tailgate lock

Hi,
My key won't turn the tailgate lock so I'm trying to
strip it to check it out. I've removed the lock from the
black housing but how do you get at the barrel. Does the
cam just prise off the end or something?

Hi,
Before taking apart try wd40 (if you havn't already). I had same problem recently. Took lock out, sprayed, and it worked perfectly. There was probably no need to have removed it in the first place.

Cheers Don, but I soaked it over night and it didn't
work, so I suspect it's either a pin problem or
the wrong key, so as was suggested in another thread
I'm going to file the pins.
