Hi all,
Just wondered as I see some fo you are from Gloucestershire if you have any recommendaitons regarding garages to use for servicing etc.
We are based past Cirencester but don't mind a bit of a trek to find a recommended place that knows what it's doing as the county is pretty big!
Cheers.

Re: Garage recommendations in Gloucestershire??
I live between Cheltenham and Cardiff and work in Stroud.
I had a lot of recommendations from beetle and bus owners about Bridgend garage in Stonehouse on the way to Stroud. They are a father and son VW specialist and they are very knowledgeable about buses.
I have used them to change both front bearings, repair cylinders and brake lines on rear drums. each time I have used them there has been about a 1 week wait and their parts &labour cost has been better than any other garage I've used. One of the bearings they fitted for me was faulty after a couple of thousand miles but they have agreed to replace it under warranty without any argument.
Otherwise when I'm in Cardiff I use Whichurch MOT center who again have a week wait and are not the cheapest but they have their own project vans and have worked wonders fixing faults I have had difficulty diagnosing. Last time I was there they had just about every type of bus waiting to worked on, each of which put my rusty old van to shame.
Otherwise find yourself a friend with a driveway and clear your calender, no better way to service your bus than with a bunch of tools from Lidls and a well thumbed Haynes manual.
